Kawagoe Prince Hotel renews Moomin Valley Park-approved “Snufkin” rooms into modern Scandinavian rooms.

Posted on 2024-03-252024-04-02 by Editor in Chief

Kawagoe Prince Hotel (1-22 Shintomi-cho, Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture), operated by Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide, has renewed the Moomin Valley Park-approved concept room “Moomin Special Room Snufkin Version” and will sell only one room per day from April 1. Reservations will be accepted on the hotel’s official website from 12:00 p.m. on March 26.

The renewal includes changes to the interior decor and some of the furniture. Wood-grain furniture, pale green wallpaper, small window-style sticker art, and Snufkin stuffed animals and hats were also decorated to create a nostalgic, modern Scandinavian space that makes you feel as if you are spending time in nature.

Guests will also be able to take home an original hotel card key with the Moomin Valley Park Official Hotel logo design, which is not for sale. In addition, some novelties have been renewed and an upgraded “Moomin Special Room Snufkin Version” will be presented.

Room rates start at 18,000 yen per person per night (based on double occupancy per room) and include breakfast and a voucher for one-day admission to Moomin Valley Park (available on check-out day).
