First Resort will begin offering new guest rooms at the Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort, an official Tokyo Disney Resort hotel, on July 5. Reservations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on April 6.
The hotel will renovate 28 rooms on one of the eight floors on the South Side, focusing on rooms for two to four guests, with some rooms with balconies and others that can accommodate up to six guests. The rooms are designed to provide the comfort of a home away from home, even in the extraordinary setting of a theme park stay. The design is said to be a key point in pursuit of the “relaxing atmosphere that only a resort can offer.
The interior design is conscious of the hotel’s location, with navy blue accents that evoke images of the sky, sea, and beach, combined with light wood grains. Indirect lighting adds a sense of depth, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of relaxing by the sea at dusk.
The beds are Hollywood twin style. The sofa can be used as a daybed for 3-4 persons.
A 55-inch 4K LCD TV is provided on the wall side, and is compatible with HDMI, mirroring, and Bluetooth, allowing guests to enjoy videos, photos, and other memories of the park in the guestroom through smartphone connectivity, etc.
Public spaces will have beach street-like lighting and signage. The hallway from the elevator hall will also be redesigned.
The South Side will continue to be renewed in stages.
