Local Charms that Hotel Staff Know About] “Kinugawa Onsen Asaya” Noguchi-san’s Recommendation

Posted on 2024-04-23 by Editor in Chief

Although more and more people are using SNS to gather information about their travel destinations, even in this day and age, we are still interested in the recommendations of local people. In this section, we ask people who work at lodging facilities throughout Japan to introduce points of interest at the lodging facilities where they work and their favorite sightseeing spots in the surrounding area.

For this interview, we spoke with Mai Noguchi of Asaya in Kinugawa Onsen.

Facility Name: Kinugawa Onsen Asaya

Location: 813 Kinugawa Onsen Taki, Nikko-shi, Tochigi

–Please give us an overview of the facility.

The inn has been in business for 130 years in Kinugawa Onsen. The hotel’s open-air garden baths and 100 different types of Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffets have been well received by many of our guests. We also offer a variety of room types and meal types to meet your various travel needs.

–What are some of the highlights or experiences that you would like to see or experience that you can’t find anywhere else?

The atrium of Shuhokan is a highlight of the building. The building has an open-air atrium from the 3rd to 12th floors. The hanging garden open-air bath on the 13th floor of the Shuhokan is the highest bath in Kinugawa Onsen. Here you can enjoy the hot springs surrounded by the magnificent nature of Kinugawa Onsen.

–What are your personal recommendations for nearby attractions?

Near the hotel, there are theme parks such as “Edo Wonderland: Nikko Edo Village,” “Tobu World Square,” and “Nikko Hanaichimonme,” which can be enjoyed by families, couples, and women traveling together.

–Finally, any last words for our readers?

Please enjoy your time at the spa with its rich efficacy, delicious meals, and the richness of the hotel. We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel.
