Bando PA” on the inner route of Ken-O Expressway will open on April 23. Aiming to establish an outbound PA as soon as possible in conjunction with the four-lane expansion.

NEXCO East Japan Kanto Branch will open the Bando PA (Yumida, Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture) between the Bando IC and Joso IC on the Ken-O Expressway (Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway, C4) at 12:00 pm on April 23.

It is located approximately midway between Tsukuba JCT on the Joban Expressway and Kuki Shiraoka JCT on the Tohoku Expressway, approximately 40 km from Edosaki PA and 37 km from Shobu PA on the Ken-O Expressway.

The company plans to proceed with the construction of the outer PA, aiming to open it as soon as possible in conjunction with the four-lane expansion between the Bando IC and the Joso IC.
