Culture Convenience Club and Pokémon Inc. have announced details about the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE, an official Pokémon Card Game lounge on the 5th floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA (21-6 Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which will open on April 25.
Fees start at 1,650 yen per person for 60 minutes. The game can be played at the original, high-quality match seats, which have been carefully designed with the “Basic Energy” logo on the wall, custom-made desks and chairs, and other features. The seats also offer free drinks (about 50 kinds) and snacks (about 30 kinds of individually wrapped snacks).
You can play with your own Pokémon cards or borrow decks and other necessary items free of charge, so you can come empty-handed. 1 private room for up to 4 people (8,250 yen for 60 minutes) is also available, so groups can have fun without worrying about their surroundings.
Lounge guests will also receive a welcome card with the energy mark design as a commemorative novelty (one of 11 types at random).
Reservations can be made today, April 15, starting at 10:00 a.m. on the official website.
The free admission merchandise sales area features a total of 30 types of products, including fashion goods, stationery, household goods, deck shields that can be used in competitions, cases, rubber play mats, and more.
There is also a gallery area that displays six oversized cards that reproduce the texture and glitter of the cards as they are.
