National Showa Memorial Park (3173 Midori-cho, Tachikawa City, Tokyo) updated the blooming forecast of nemophila and announced that it was at its best on April 25. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the park’s opening, and the planting site was changed from Herb Hill to Flower Hill. About 1.8 million nemophila are expected to be in bloom until the end of Golden Week.
In conjunction with the blooming of nemophila, boats, blue and white doors, white swings, and the station name sign of the imaginary “National Showa Memorial Park Station” will be set up as photo spots. Visitors can enjoy various photo opportunities. In addition, during the two-day period from April 27 to 28, a special event using soap bubbles, “Nemophila x Soap Bubble Photojournalism Time,” will be held.
The park’s stores and restaurants also offer photo-worthy gourmet foods associated with nemophila.
