Marubeni Corporation Signs Yen Loan Agreement for Turkey: Contributing to the restoration of public infrastructure such as water and sewage systems, housing, and emergency services in the areas affected by the earthquake in southeastern Turkey ｜ News & Media

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Loan Agreement (L/A) with the Government of the Republic of Turkey for up to 60 billion yen for “Emergency Earthquake Disaster Reconstruction Project” in Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey, on April 25.

The earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey in February 2023 caused devastating damage to water, sewage, and other basic infrastructure and housing in the affected areas, as well as challenges in accessing medical services due to ambulance breakdowns and the collapse of medical stations.
