Nankai Electric Railway to operate its fifth “Medetai Densha” train from July 1. The “To-oi Ancestor” is a converted 2000 Series train.

Nankai Electric Railway will add one more train to its sightseeing train “Metai Densha” operating on the Kata Line, starting July 1.

The theme of the new organization is “Hajimari no ‘Mentei Densha'” (“Beginning ‘Mentei Densha'”). The relationship with the current formation is “To-oi Ancestor” and the name is “? and the name is “? The train will be the first “Medetai Densha” train to be converted from a 2000 Series train.

Design and other details will be announced at a later date.
