Eric John is the new president of Boeing’s Japanese subsidiary.

Boeing appointed Eric John as the new president of Boeing Japan, its Japanese subsidiary, on May 10, Japan time.

John has served as president of Boeing Korea, the South Korean subsidiary, since 2014, and prior to that he was a U.S. diplomat for 32 years before becoming president of Boeing Japan at the end of June.

Will Shaffer has been appointed Vice President of Growth Strategy for Boeing Global Services. He served as president of Boeing Japan for approximately five years, where he was instrumental in expanding the company’s commercial aircraft, defense, and services divisions. He has contributed to the expansion of Boeing’s presence in Japan.
