JR East Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters has teamed up with the editorial department of Shogakukan’s “Shogakusei Ichinensei” to hold “Yamanote Quest: Aim for the Master! Yamanote Line Master”, where visitors can learn by riding on a train.
Based on the participation kit (1980 yen), Yamano Quest is a hands-on content that allows visitors to tour six Yamanote Line stations (Tokyo, Ueno, Tabata, Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shinbashi) and collect the key numbers necessary to complete the “Yamanote Line Master Certificate”.
The booklet included in the kit contains useful information about 30 stations on the Yamanote Line, and parents and children can enjoy playing and learning together by challenging themselves to complete the “quests” while exploring the stations and towns.
In addition, 100 participants who collect key numbers will be selected by drawing to receive a special pass case that glows when held over an automatic ticket gate.
