Toba Kokusai Hotel (1-23-1 Toba, Toba City, Mie Prefecture), operated by Iseshima Resort Management, will sell only one Mijumaru Room accommodation plan per day, a concept room in collaboration with the Mie-supporting Pokemon “Mijumaru.
The rooms are decorated in ocean-inspired blue, including curtains and bed fabrics, with round lights reminiscent of pearls. Windows located on the east side of the room offer a panoramic ocean view.
In addition to the plush toys, other items available to enjoy the charms of both Mijumaru and Mie Prefecture include kyusu pots and teacups made of Yokkaichi Banko-Yaki, coasters made of Owase cypress, and cushions made of Ise cotton.
Ise-cha tea bags and oboro-dyed gauze towels with Mijumaru on them can be taken home, and if you find all three monster balls hidden in the guest room, you will also receive a gift.
Accommodations are available from May 23, and rates start at 34,320 yen per person per night including dinner and breakfast (based on double occupancy).
In addition, Toba International Hotel is celebrating its 60th anniversary and is renovating its terrace, entrance floor, and other areas.
