JR Tokai Retailing Plus will begin taking orders for the Tokaido Shinkansen Memorial Ring on June 1. The price is 132,000 yen.
This platinum ring, made in collaboration with Kay Uno, is available in sizes from 1 to 30 in increments of 1. In addition to initials, the inside can be engraved with seven different train cars and logos from Series 0 to N700S or the 60th anniversary logo.
Once an order is received, production will take approximately eight weeks, and delivery will be made upon completion. As a follow-up service, K-UNO offers resizing and refurbishing services (some of them for a fee).
