On May 30, JR Tokai President Shunsuke Niwa commented on the inauguration of a new governor in Shizuoka Prefecture at a press conference for “THE ROYAL EXPRESS – SHIZUOKA and FUJI CRUISE TRAIN,” a cruise train to be implemented by both Tokyu.

Mr. Yasutomo Suzuki was first elected as the new Shizuoka Governor on the 26th, and he made his first appearance in office on the 29th.
