Tokyo Disneyland has chosen “Reach for the Stars” as the title of its new nighttime entertainment, which will begin on September 20.
Reach for the Stars” is a castle projection set in Cinderella Castle that depicts the infinite possibilities that exist as long as one pursues one’s dreams through the various characters reaching for the stars and opening up the future.
In the show, magical and colorful clouds appear over the magically glowing Cinderella Castle, creating a majestic castle on a cloud. Then Tinker Bell appears, flying freely and leading guests to a dreamlike place where the story comes to life.
Characters from “Toy Story,” “Baymax,” “Grandpa Carl’s Flying House,” “Dumbo,” “Hercules,” “Mary Poppins,” and other Disney and Pixar films will appear and pursue their passions, face their fears, and overcome their challenges as they soar through the skies together.
The vivid images projected on the castle along with famous Disney songs, the lights spreading across the night sky, and the pyro effect make the guests feel as if they are flying with the characters in the sky.
The performance location is Cinderella Castle (Castle Forecourt). The performance lasts approximately 20 minutes and is performed once or twice a day. Characters appearing in the video include. Tinker Bell, Hercules, Dumbo, Mary Poppins, Carl Fredricksen, Aladdin, WALL-E, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Baymax, and others.
