Universal Studios Japan will hold “Hyottoko-Tei,” a restaurant where visitors can experience the world of the anime “Blade of Demon’s Destruction” through food, from July 19 to January 5, 2025.
Guests visiting the “village of swordsmiths” as the Oni-kiri-tai can enjoy special menus inspired by the pillars such as Tokitoru Muichiro and Amarudera Mitsuri, as well as collaborative foods such as Gokosama Gozen by Sumijiro Kamado, Priestess Priestess and Genya Fushigawa.
A special drink and coaster set is also available, in which each drink comes with one of a total of nine different original coasters with designs of the nine pillars at random. There will be a soda by Yoshiyuu Tomioka, a grape drink by Shinobu Butterfly, and a ginger drink by Jitsuya Mukawa.
The interior will be decorated with stained glass windows and other Taisho period-inspired features, and the walls will be decorated with “Hyottoko” masks. In addition, the store plans to display a reproduction of the “En I Zero” fighting doll used by Sumijiro in his training.
