On June 17, Booking Resort began accepting reservations for the Lakeside Glamping Izumo glamping facility (978-16 Shikazonoji-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture) through resortglamping.com.
Lakeside Glamping Izumo is a glamping facility with saunas in all buildings scheduled to open in July. The sauna features an authentic Finnish-style barrel sauna that can be used for self-launge.
There are a total of five dome tents located on the shores of Lake Shinji, each with its own private garden, dedicated BBQ space, showers, and toilets. Two of the tents are dog-friendly and have a private dog run with an area of over 80 m2.
For meals, in addition to a BBQ menu featuring Shimane Prefecture’s brand-name pork “Okuidumo pork” and assorted seafood, visitors can also bring in their own food to cook if they rent a BBQ grill.
The hotel is within 30 minutes by car from tourist attractions such as Matsue Castle, Izumo Taisha Shrine, Yunokawa Onsen Hot Spring, and Vogel Park, making it easy to access.
In addition, during the pre-opening period from June 10 to 30, plans are available for up to a 20% discount. During this period, rates start at 13,400 yen per person for “Lake View Suites (maximum capacity of 2-4 persons)” and 14,200 yen per person for “Private Dogs (maximum capacity of 2-3 persons)” that can be accompanied by pets.
