Fukui Prefecture will hold the “More” Connected Fukui Campaign, in which Fukui Prefecture events will be held in other prefectures, until March 2025.
Fukui Food Country 291 in Omiya
Fukui Prefecture’s official antenna store in Ginza, “Fukui Shokunokuni 291” has traveled to Omiya for a limited time, and will be held a total of four times until March 2025 at the event venue “Marumaru Higashi Nihon” located a minute walk from the east exit of JR Omiya Station.
The first fair, “Hikaru Fukui Fair,” will be held in conjunction with the Echizen version of NHK’s current historical drama “Hikaru Kimi e” (To the Luminous Kimi). In addition to Murasaki Shikibu, the main character in the drama, there will be a lineup of limited-edition products featuring characters from the Heian period (794-1192) that have close ties to Fukui Prefecture, such as Abe no Seimei, in the packaging. The store also offers a variety of Fukui ume (Japanese apricot) products, which are now in season.
