Special exhibits include sea creatures with characteristics similar to Sumikko Gurashi characters. During the first stage, “clownfish,” “rag scorpionfish,” “yodarekake,” “konpeito,” and “giant salamander” will be exhibited. Different creatures will be exhibited during the second phase.
Collaborative food, limited-edition merchandise, museum rally, and limited-design annual passport are also available.
During the event, there will be a collaborative food menu, limited edition collaborative event goods, and a rally in the museum.
The museum rally “Sumikko Gurashi and the Sea’s Neighbors” is a keyword rally in which participants collect letters at rally points throughout the museum. Upon reaching the goal, one of a total of five types of acrylic key chains will be presented at random as a limited rally novelty. The second rally will be a quiz rally, and the novelty will be redesigned.
After purchasing a rally ticket (500 yen) from a ticket machine, visitors can exchange it for a rally booklet at the general information desk and participate in the rally.
An annual passport with a limited Sumikko Gurashi collaboration design will also be available for 4,600 yen for adults, 2,200 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and 800 yen for infants. The passports are valid for one year from the date of issue.
