VALORE will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force by pre-selling 100 “Blue Impulse Premium Japanese Solar Chronographs” in limited editions of each color on June 24, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Make (Macauke). The period will last until August 15.
The design of the chronograph is reminiscent of a cockpit, and the subdial features a design of the “T-4” aircraft. The second hand is also designed in the image of the fuselage. The back cover, buckle and crown are engraved with the official emblem of the Blue Impulse.
The front side of the bezel has a hairline finish and the edges have a mirror finish, and the case and belt also use both hairline and mirror finishes. The case size is approximately 40 mm.
The movement is Seiko EPSON’s VR42, which is equipped with a solar power generation system and does not require battery replacement. A battery indicator function that shows the remaining solar charge level is also included.
Two colors are available: ice blue and silver, and navy and rose gold. The back of the watch is engraved with a serial number to certify the limited production of 100 pieces. Personalized engraving can be added as an option. Leather and silicon rubber belts are included and can be replaced.
The general sales price is 55,000 yen, with an early bird discount of 25% off (41,200 yen), and the product is scheduled to be shipped by the end of August.
