Hermes is offering pre-orders of its “UKIBLE” water rescue tabletop on Makeake. The period is until July 17.
A tabletop that can be turned into a table by simply removing the lid of a cargo box sold at home improvement stores or outdoor stores, turning it inside out, and placing it on top of the cargo box.
It is made of hard urethane and has a buoyancy of 7.5 kg, which is equivalent to that of an adult life vest, allowing even a 75 kg adult to float, so if rescue is needed while playing in the river, etc., it can be thrown immediately and used for initial rescue.
The top panel is also colored mortar-like white and safety orange on the back and front sides, respectively, to stand out on the water surface. Furthermore, the handle part can be held and thrown or tied to a rope. By using concrete to make the mold, the uneven texture provides a gripping effect, making it easy to grasp even with wet hands.
It measures 58 x 38 x 4 cm (W x D x H) and weighs approximately 1.8 kg.
The general retail price is 8,360 yen, with an early-bird special of 20% off (6,688 yen), and products will be shipped sequentially from the end of July.
