On June 25, Tokyo Metro began accepting applications for new station entrances for the opening of the Yurakucho Line extension (Toyosu to Sumiyoshi).
The two stations being sought are “Edagawa Station (tentative name)” (near Edagawa 2-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo) to be established between Toyosu and Toyosu, and “Sengoku Station (tentative name)” (near Sengoku 2-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo) between Toyosu and Sumiyoshi.
Cooperation is being sought from land owners in the target area and urban developers who are planning or considering building reconstruction or development, and the application period is from June 25 to March 31, 2027.
