Kamogawa City in Chiba Prefecture will hold its first “Kamogawa Citizens’ Fireworks Festival” in two years on July 29 from 19:30 to 20:00. The event will be held at Maebaru-Yokonagisa Beach, where 1,300 fireworks will be shot off and stalls will be set up. The area around the beach will be closed to vehicular traffic from the afternoon of the day.
Also in Kamogawa City, “Renya no Hanabi IN Tianjin Kominato” (from 20:00 each day from August 1 to 18), where 120 fireworks can be seen every night for 18 days; “Nichiren no Akari” (from 16:00 each day from August 1 to 18), where 3,000 bamboo lanterns and the Soshido Hall are lit up at Birth Temple; and “Birth Temple Lantern Floating” (August 10, from 7:00 p.m.). In addition, “Emi Noryo Hanabi 2024” (August 12, 7:30 p.m.-) will be held at Emi Fishing Port, where visitors can watch 500 fireworks.
