Sumitomo Mitsui Card has launched a “Chance to win up to 10,000 yen worth of cash by making a touch payment with your smartphone! campaign.

During the period from July 1 to August 31, one in ten customers who make at least five touch payments of 500 yen or more including tax using a smartphone after making an entry with an eligible card listed on the campaign page will have a chance to win V-Points in the first to third place.

First prize is 10,000 points (1,000 winners), second prize is 2,000 points (3,000 winners), and third prize is 10 points (number of other winners). The probability of winning will increase to 1 in 5 for those who use the system more than 10 times, and to 1 in 2 for those who use the system more than 20 times.
