Mori Trust Hotels & Resorts will open Hotel Laforet Shuzenji Yamashisuimei Sangankan (1529 Ohira, Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), a hot spring resort with an open-air hot spring bath, on August 30. The hotel is accepting reservations from July 1.
Yamashisuimei is located on the grounds of Laforet Resort Shuzenji, which is dotted with hotels, hot springs, golf courses, tennis courts, and zip lines, etc. The first building opened in 2012, and the second in 2014.
Sangan, which has 16 rooms in total, will have a terrace that seems to float in the forest, an open-air bath with outside light, and a tatami living room in every room to give guests an even more private feeling.
In addition, as a commemorative plan for the opening of the hotel, a “Recharge Trip to Shuzenji Onsen” is available. The plan includes “Howatto Biwa Tea” made from white biwa leaves grown only in the Doi district of Izu City, and “Shizuoka Tea Cola” for after bathing.
