Avest Corporation has begun operating HOTEL SUI HAMAMATSU (314-47 Renshaku-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture). The hotel was rebranded from the existing “HOTEL ACT GARDEN HAMAMATSU.
SUI” is the name taken from the Japanese word “iki” and is the fourth facility to open in Japan. The hotel will offer experiences that reflect Japanese culture, such as wearing happi coats at checkout and offering a huchi-ishi ceremony for those who wish to experience Japanese culture.
The hotel has 106 guest rooms in four types: single, double, twin, and queen. All rooms are equipped with video streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix.
Free beer, highballs, juice, and other beverages are served in the lounge from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. daily, and free “eel rice balls” and other items are available as an evening meal from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Breakfast is buffet style, including ochazuke (rice with green tea and pickles), and a side buffet is also available.
