Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to increase the number of trains by 128 to coincide with the Sumida River Fireworks Festival, with 2 to 3 minute intervals.

Tokyo Metro announced that it will run 128 more trains toward Asakusa and Shibuya to coincide with the 47th Sumida River Fireworks Festival to be held on July 27.

The Asakusa direction will run every 2 to 3 minutes from around 2:00 p.m. until the time of the fireworks display, for a total of 62 more runs.

A total of 66 more trains will run in the Shibuya direction from around 19:00 to 22:00 at 2-3 minute intervals.
