The Noshiro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Club of Akita Prefecture and the Minato Matsuri Executive Committee will hold the Noshiro Minato Matsuri 2024 on July 6-7, 2012. The venue will be the Omori Memorial Site at the Port of Noshiro.
On the 6th, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of Noshiro Port, the Blue Impulse, a specialized team of the Air Self-Defense Force, will perform a 15-minute display flight between 11:30 and 12:00. A commemorative photo and autograph session by members of the Blue Impulse will also be held.
On the 7th, there will be a Yosakoi dance performance, a dance Koshien, and a mini-concert by the JMSDF Ominato Band. During the two days of the festival, the JMSDF destroyer “Hamagiri” will be open to the public, and visitors can enjoy sales of JMSDF goods, kitchen cars from around the prefecture, shooting games, basketball games, and more.
