fumotto Minami-Alps” (1571-1 Tokaichiba, Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture), a commercial complex being developed by Hikare Yamanasi, opened its “Community Exchange Area” with 42 stores on June 30 in advance.
In the community interaction area, a multipurpose grass plaza with a diameter of 75 m is located in the center of the site, and stores are divided into three zones surrounding the plaza.
In addition to Yamanashi Prefecture’s largest direct sales market for agricultural products and domestic beef, Farm Base features a fruit parlor, a croissant specialty store, and a dining restaurant that also offers all-you-can-drink wine.
Mountain Base features a bicycle specialty store selling BMX and MTB bicycles, a 400-meter-long cycle trail, a radio-controlled circuit, RV park activities, and Japan’s first “Trailer Village,” an outdoor food court with trailer houses.
It is divided into three two-story buildings with a local base that houses more than 30 tenants, including retailers of sweets and souvenirs, outdoor goods, traditional crafts, and restaurants.
fumotto Minami-Alps” is a 12-hectare project site directly connected to the Minami-Alps Interchange on the trans-Chubu Expressway, divided into a large-scale commercial area, a transportation hub area, and a regional exchange area.
In the large-scale commercial area, Costco Alps Warehouse, which will be the first store in Yamanashi Prefecture, is scheduled to open in April 2025.
