PICA Fuji Gurinpa (2427 Fujiwara, Suyama, Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture), a campground at the second station of Mt. Fuji operated by Pica, has begun taking reservations for the “Sylvanian Families Waku Waku Camp Site,” a setup tent site that will open on July 20.
The site commemorates the 20th anniversary of the opening of Sylvanian Village, a Sylvanian Families theme area in the adjacent amusement park Gurinpa, and features two original characters, “Nonohana Rabbit Boy Petal” and “Walnut Squirrel Girl Saffron.
Rates start at 5,500 yen per night per person for adults and 4,400 yen per night per person for children (3 years old to elementary school students), with accommodations for up to four people. Setup tent, bedding, LED lanterns, dishes, BBQ grill, sink, table, chairs fire pit, hammock, AC power, picnic rug, basket, garland, etc.
In addition, the Sylvanian Families Nature Rally will be upgraded with an anniversary photo spot in the Gurinpa amusement park and a “Sylvanian Families Nature Rally” where visitors can tour the Sylvanian Village and learn about the natural environment around Mt. Participants in the rally will receive a Bamboo Eco Mug or Bamboo Eco Cutlery with the 20th anniversary logo.
