Grape Stone, the company behind Tokyo Banana, will release “Toy Story/Maple Chocolat Sandwich” with an acrylic key chain on July 20. Prices range from 1,188 yen to 2,860 yen.
These chocolatey cookies, featuring the friends from the Disney & Pixar “Toy Story” film series, are made with a natty chocolatey dough that combines three types of nuts (almond, macadamia and peanut) and cacao, and sandwich a softly whipped maple chocolate.
There are five different designs on the sweets. You can enjoy deformed faces of familiar friends and “ANDY” signatures at random.
The packaging varies depending on the number of chocolat sandwiches: the 8-pack includes Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye; the 14-pack is designed to look like Andy’s toy box, with his friends peeking out from inside the cute can. Woody and Buzz Lightyear on top are also cool.
The new set also comes with an acrylic keychain, with the 8-pack featuring Woody and Jessie as two Westerns, and the 14-pack featuring Buzz Lightyear and the Little Green Men, a Space Ranger combination that fans will love.
