Mimegi JCT, connecting the Metropolitan Expressway Ikebukuro Line to the Gaikan Expressway, closed to traffic for 24 hours on July 15, the last day of a three-day weekend.

Metropolitan Expressway and NEXCO East Japan will close the Ikebukuro Line off-ramp to the inner and outer ring road at Mimegi JCT, which connects the Metropolitan Expressway Ikebukuro Line and the outer ring road (C3), for 24 hours from 6:00 am on July 15 to 6:00 am the following day due to road surface construction.

With the road closure, the Toda entrance (off-ramp) will also be unavailable.

Although detours can be made using the Toda-Higashi IC, Toda-Nishi IC, Toda-Minami Entrance and Exit, and Urawa-Kita Entrance, traffic congestion due to construction is expected, so a wide detour is being called for.
