Since its opening in July 1959 as the nation’s first public youth hostel, Utano Youth Hostel has operated as a locally based accommodation facility aiming to promote the sound growth of traveling youths and contribute to mutual exchange and the local community.
In order to encourage families to reconsider and nurture their family ties and to take this opportunity to discover Kyoto in a new way, we are running a campaign offering a discount on accommodation fees for families.
