Kyoto City History Museum will hold a special exhibition, “Where the Kyoto City History Museum is – East of the Gosho, Now and Then -” in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Kyoto City History Museum, as follows.
This exhibition commemorates the 40th anniversary of the museum and introduces the history of the “East of the Imperial Palace,” including the museum, from the Heian period to the present day, using materials from the museum collection and artifacts excavated from various archaeological sites.
