Looking at one-time trip expenses by gender and age group, women in their 70s have the highest total cost at 67,900 yen, while women in their 60s, men in their 70s, and other senior citizens are prominent. Looking only at lodging expenses for individual travel, those in their 60s and older all spent more than 20,000 yen, while those in the younger age group of 18-29 were in the 15,000 yen range for both men and women.
