Showa Nishikawa has released a premium line of down futons with a design based on the Disney movie “Fantasia,” and is accepting complete orders starting July 18.
The price is 3,300,000 yen for a single long and 4,950,000 yen for a double long eider down comforter, and 1,540,000 yen for a single long and 2,310,000 yen for a double long eider down comforter.
Eider duck, the “king of feathers,” is used. The tips of the fibers are key-shaped, and the down intertwines with each other to create an air layer that keeps the down warm.
The design is inspired by the popular “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” scene from “Fantasia”. The silhouette of Mickey Mouse is interspersed with scenes from the movie, creating an atmosphere full of dreams and fantasy. Wrapped up in this design, sleepers are sure to have grand dreams just like Mickey Mouse in the movie.
