Posted on 2024-07-192024-09-15 by Editor in Chief

Milan is the first ANA scheduled flight from Haneda (ANA used to operate a flight from Kansai International Airport), Istanbul is the first ANA scheduled flight from Istanbul, and Stockholm is the first destination for a Japanese airline.

The Haneda-Milan route will begin service on December 3, the Haneda-Stockholm route on January 31, 2025, and the Haneda-Istanbul route on February 12. The aircraft will be a Boeing 787-9 with 215 seats for the Milan route and a Boeing 787-8 with 184 seats for the Stockholm and Istanbul routes.

He mentioned that the athletes have been leaving for the Paris Olympics, which will start on July 26, and that he himself attended an event to see off the Japanese delegation on July 18. I hope ANA will continue to be an airline that supports the success of young people,” said Inoue.

As for new destinations, Milan is an economic and fashion center, and Milan Malpensa Airport is served by rail; ANA has started a partnership with Trenitalia, an Italian railroad company, which provides easy access to 25 domestic destinations as well as other European countries.

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and the country’s political, economic, and cultural center, and has become a tourist destination that blends the natural environment with progressive land development.

He also introduced Istanbul as the largest city in Turkey and a place blessed with historical monuments, gastronomy, and nature.

Currently, ANA has the largest number of flights between Japan and Europe, with 49 weekly flights to 9 destinations. Three new routes will be added to the existing network.

Mr. Inoue said, “European routes are connected like capillaries. We will continue to increase the number of connections from Milan, Stockholm, and Istanbul, where we will be flying to new destinations. These three routes were scheduled to be launched before Corona, and we are thrilled to finally be back here,” he said, expressing a sense of anticipation.
