Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management will open Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier (45-1 Hishiya-cho, Sanjo-dori Higashinotoin Higashi-iru, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto) on July 31.
This is the 10th hotel in the Premier Series of Mitsui Garden Hotels in Japan and the first in the Kyoto area. It is approximately a 3-minute walk from Karasuma-Oike Station (Exit 5), with a close view of the Museum of Kyoto on Sanjo Street and excellent access to tourist attractions such as Nijo Castle and Nishiki Market.
There are 185 guest rooms in total, with an average floor space of over 30m2, and approximately 40% of all rooms are king rooms. There are also suites that can accommodate up to four people, as well as superior queens with washing machines for mid- to long-term stays.
The basement floor features the brand’s first private bath (by reservation only), as well as a large bath of approximately 90 m2 and a fitness room.
For meals, they can enjoy dishes using six kinds of cheese made from raw milk delivered every morning from a farm in Tamba at the fresh cheese laboratory “GOOD CHEESE LABORATORY” and the Italian restaurant “curd” with an open terrace and courtyard.
In addition, “Y bar,” a bar at the end of the alley, serves mainly sake made by the local Takeno Sake Brewery in Kyotango.
