Marriott International opened the Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo (1-1-57 Minami Jujo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo) on July 23.
This is the eighth Courtyard in Japan and the first in Hokkaido. It is a 3-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Station, a 10-minute drive from Sapporo Station, and easily accessible to tourist spots such as the Susukino area, Nijo Market, and Odori Park.
The hotel has a total of 321 guest rooms, including suites, and the upper floors offer views of Nakajima Park or the Toyohira River. Guests can also use the hotel’s hot bath facilities and 24-hour fitness center.
Substance, an all-day dining restaurant on the hotel’s second floor, features a semi-open kitchen and offers a buffet-style menu of dishes from around the world using Hokkaido ingredients. In the high-end space at the back of the restaurant, French courses can be ordered only during dinner time.
THE LOUNGE, located adjacent to the 1st floor front desk, will offer American bistro style food, local brand wines and beers, afternoon tea, and original parfaits that can be enjoyed as “shime parfaits”.
The hotel also participates in the Marriott Bonvoy travel program, where members can earn and redeem points through hotel stays and resort stays.
