Alecole has launched pre-order sales of two new colors of “HAPIRIDE MINI,” a carry-on size suitcase for children from its own brand “Nippers,” through its online store. The price is 19,980 yen.
The suitcase was developed as a “kid’s carry-on for children,” equipped with a safety belt that doubles as a bridle and retractable pedals, and can be moved with a child in it, with the addition of “Choco Mint (blue and brown)” and “Vanilla Latte (ivory and brown)” as new colors and improved functions.
A USB port for charging devices has been added, and the body is made of recyclable polycarbonate, which is safe for children to lick, and has received the RoHS mark. The handle has a two-step adjustment, and the seat cushion has improved seams and piping to prevent snagging.
The TSA lock has also been improved, with a less uneven design to make it less likely to catch children’s hands or clothes.
It measures 53 x 23 x 39 cm (W x D x H), weighs approximately 2.8 kg, and has a capacity of 32 L. The load capacity is approximately 35 kg, and the target age range is children from 2 to 8 years old.
