Japan RV Association newly certifies 12 locations as overnight stay spots. RV parks in Okuharima/Takasago, Hyogo/Tajimi, Gifu and other areas with dog runs.

The Japan RV Association (JRVA) has certified 12 new locations (as of the end of July) as “RV Parks,” facilities for overnight stays in vehicles.

This RV park was created by renovating a kindergarten. The park has an all-grass dog run and large dogs are allowed, and a rest area in a renovated old private house overlooks the “terraced rice paddies of Yamada.

RV Park JUBILATIONS (Hyogo Prefecture)

This RV park has a parking lot where camping trailers can be parked while being towed, and is located about 30 minutes by car from Himeji Castle.

It has restrooms and laundry facilities using trailers, and a kitchen car using an American camping trailer sells tacos & drinks and other food and sweets, as well as dog-friendly lunches.
