Fons will open “HOTEL AO KANAZAWA” on September 1 as a co-creation project with Nishimatsu Construction Co. This is the second hotel under the AO hotel brand, following HOTEL AO KAMAKURA.
Located under Kenrokuen Garden, about 15 minutes by bus from JR Kanazawa Station. The six-story building built in 1966 was renovated on the inside while maintaining the exterior. The rooms have Japanese modern details with tatami mats, and the suites are equipped with a sauna.
At the two dining establishments, “Shokudo Kanazawa Vinegar Shige” and “Kanazawa Sushi Matsunoshita,” diners can enjoy dishes using local Kanazawa ingredients, and at “Shokudo Kanazawa Vinegar Shige” they can taste fresh Hokuriku fish, white rice cooked in a copper pot, and over 10 kinds of pickles at any time. Kanazawa Sushi Matsunoshita” is an authentic sushi restaurant, offering all-you-can-eat and set menus.
In addition, a special price plan will be offered for the first month of the opening (September 1 to 30).
