WILLER EXPRESS has established a new bus stop at Hiruzen Kogen in Okayama Prefecture and will begin direct service from Osaka to Hiruzen Kogen on September 1.
Until now, public transportation from Osaka to Hiruzen Kogen required multiple connections, such as the Shinkansen bullet train to Okayama Station, followed by a train or bus ride northward.
The bus stop is located in “Roadside Station Kaze no Ie” (1380-6, Kaminokuyama, Hiruzen, Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture) near the Hiruzen Interchange on the Yonago Expressway, the gateway to the Hiruzen Plateau. One round trip of the existing “Osaka – Yonago, Matsue, Izumo Route” will be via this bus stop, and the downhill service departing from Osaka (WILLER Bus Terminal Osaka-Umeda) will take 3 hours and 10 minutes.
The basic fare for adults is from 4,400 yen one-way, and all seats are “Relax” four-row seats with canopies. The service is suspended during the winter season (December through February).
The “Hiruzenwari” plan, which offers a one-way direct flight from Osaka to Hiruzen Kogen for ¥3,000 for adults, is on sale with a limited number of seats, and is a commemorative campaign for the start of service to coincide with the International Art Festival “Mori no Geijutsu Matsuri (Forest Art Festival) Okayama: Land of Sunshine” to be held from September 28 to November 24. (Reservations can be made three months prior to the departure date.)
The plan will be applied by selecting a Hiruzenwari plan from the “WILLER TRAVEL” reservation site and choosing a Hiruzenwari plan.
