On August 27, AirJapan introduced QR code payments such as PayPay as a means of online payment on its website.
The service can be used on the company’s website to pay for ticket fares and optional services (advance seat selection fees, checked baggage fees, and in-flight meal pre-purchase fees).
In addition to PayPay, which had been compatible only with credit cards, PromptPay and KakaoPay have been introduced for use in Thailand and South Korea, the countries of operation. PayPay can be used in Japan, PromptPay in Thailand, and KakaoPay in Korea.
