JR West updated the Sanyo Shinkansen operation plan due to the approach of Typhoon No. 10, announcing “planned suspension” of some trains from August 29 to 30 (as of 18:20 on August 28).
The company also urges passengers to continue to check the latest information on the Sanyo Shinkansen Line (between Shin-Osaka and Hakata Stations) and Hakata-Minami Line (between Hakata and Hakata-Minami Stations) on August 31, as train operations may be suspended depending on the path of the typhoon and other factors.
