JR East lowers the price of “Off-Peak Commuter Passes” from October 1, 2012 on sale. 15% off the regular price + 5% points awarded.

JR East will reduce the price of its “Off-Peak Commuter Pass” by approximately 15% from the regular commuter pass starting from October 1. In addition, a new promotion featuring actor Yuto Sano will be launched with the catchphrase, “Maybe it’s a good idea! Off-peak commuter pass” featuring actor Yuto Sano.

The off-peak commuter pass is a Suica commuter pass that offers approximately 10% savings over the regular commuter pass, and the service will begin on March 18, 2023, with the aim of easing congestion during weekday morning commuting hours. With further price reductions, starting with the October 1 release, for example, the regular commuter pass (6 months) from Tachikawa Station to Shinjuku Station will cost 59,200 yen, approximately 15% off the regular commuter pass (70,350 yen), which is 11,150 yen cheaper than the regular commuter pass.

In addition to the 5% JRE POINT grant at the time of purchase as in the past, the following benefits and services will be offered for a limited period from October 1 to 31.
