Yurakai Resort will reopen the Yurakai Resort Gero Saichoraku Honkan in Gifu Prefecture on November 1 as “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Gero Honkan” (1605 Koda, Gero City, Gifu Prefecture).
The brand integration with Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts is the result of a merger of the two companies’ brands. The “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Series” are “all-inclusive” hot spring resorts, where guests can enjoy alcohol and soft drinks in the lounge at any time, and a sumptuous gourmet buffet breakfast and dinner are included in the room rate in advance.
Guests can soak in Gero Onsen, one of the three best hot springs in Japan, and enjoy the view of the Hida mountains during the day and the beautiful night view at night. This time, the front desk, lobby, and public spaces have been renovated, and a premium lounge, Sukago manga corner, and kids’ park have been newly introduced. The hotel has been redesigned to allow both families and adults to enjoy their stay to the fullest.
The buffet will offer more than 160 items for dinner and breakfast, including freshly grilled sirloin steak from the live kitchen, hot spring seiro-mushi, fish dishes, and local gourmet beef grilled with magnolia leaf miso. For dessert, there will be all-you-can-eat Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
Room types include Japanese-style rooms, Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and rooms with an open-air bath. A direct bus service from Kyoto and Shin-Osaka stations to the hotel is also planned.
The hotel will remain open as “YUKAI RESORT GERO SAICHORAKU HONKAN” until September 16, but reservations for stays under the “Ii Furo! Sa~ko~ Campaign” (for check-outs from November 1 to February 28, 2025), which commemorates the brand integration, will be available from September 2.
Iifuro members receive a 15% discount on the “Standard Plan” and a coupon worth a total of 1,000 yen.
