Tobu Top Tours will release a plan for boarding Tobu Railway’s special night train “Nikko Autumn Leaves Night Train 23:45” around 11:00 a.m. on September 12.
This limited-time train departs from Tobu Asakusa Station at 23:45 on weekends, and will run for a total of six days this season: October 12, 19, 25, and 26, and November 1 and 2.
After arriving at Tobu Nikko Station from the departure stations (Asakusa at 23:45, Kita-Senju at 00:00, Shin-Koshigaya at 00:14, and Kasukabe at 00:30), the tour will transfer to a bus to Oku-Nikko (Chuzenji Onsen and Yumoto Onsen). Since the bus departs late at night, passengers can avoid the crowds after work and enjoy the colorful autumn leaves of Oku-Nikko from early in the morning.
Two types of plans will be available: a “round trip plan” (7,800 to 9,000 yen per adult per seat for the basic plan) using the Nikko Autumn Leaves Night Tour 23:45 on the outbound trip and the Tobu Railway on the return trip, and a “one-way plan” using the Nikko Autumn Leaves Night Tour 23:45 only on the outbound trip, allowing passengers to arrange their own itinerary on the return trip.
The “Liberty” train used on the 23:45 Nikko Momiji Night Tour is equipped with reclining seats, power outlets, and Wi-Fi. Also, passengers can choose the “Yuttari 2-Seat Use” option (additional 1,000 yen), which allows them to travel from the departure station to Tobu Nikko Station without having to worry about the seat next to them.
