Via-in Hotels, a hotel specializing in overnight stays in the JR West Japan Group, will conduct a campaign to offer a discount on the Sanyo Shinkansen by using points accumulated from stays at 25 hotels nationwide. The campaign will run from October 1 to December 22.
By exchanging VIAIN points for JR West “WESTER” common points, you can purchase a “WESTER Point Super Privilege Ticket” that allows you to use the Sanyo Shinkansen at a number of WESTER points equivalent to about 25% of the regular price (about 75% off).
It takes approximately 7 to 15 days to complete the procedure from the time of application via the dedicated form, and the applicant must be a WESTER member at the time of application, a member of the VIAIN Members Club, and hold at least 5,000 VIAIN points.
The WESTER Point Super Reward Ticket will be on sale from the date of completion of the point redemption procedure until January 31, 2025. The period of use is from the date of completion of the point redemption procedure to January 31, 2025.
