JR Yokohama Shonan City Create will conduct the second phase of renovation of Laska Hiratsuka (1-1 Takaracho, Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture), a station building directly connected to Hiratsuka Station, starting November 1.
As of October 1, 145 stores have opened in the building with one basement floor and six stories above ground, which is undergoing a two-year renovation to mark the 50th anniversary of its opening in June 2023.
The second phase of the project will feature the opening of a large electronics specialty store “Nojima” (4th floor), a lifestyle goods store “Loft” (3rd floor), and a new cafe “Tully’s Coffee and Tea” that will open for the first time in the Shonan area on the center of the 1st floor.
The jewelry store “Mille Flora Deux” on the 3rd floor and the women’s fashion stores “H-B”, “Apple House” and “Grape Motomachi” on the 4th floor will also be renovated.
At the east ticket gate of Hiratsuka Station, the area around the atrium will be renovated, and new retail space and event space will be created. The first restaurant in the Shonan area, “Dashi Chazuke + Meat Udon En,” will open.
