Anchor Japan will release the Giga Power Battery 15000/30000, the first mobile battery jointly developed with outdoor brand Snow Peak, on October 5.
The Giga Power Battery 15000 is priced at 21,780 yen and the Giga Power Battery 30000 at 31,900 yen. They will be available at anchor’s directly managed stores, official online store, some electronics retailers, and directly managed Snow Peak stores.
The mobile battery was planned and developed to allow people to use mobile batteries designed to blend in with other camping goods without worrying about running out of charge for smartphones and other devices even in outdoor scenes where there is no power supply. The battery is designed to look like a gas canister, which is essential for camping, and is equipped with a “lithium iron phosphate lithium ion battery” that lasts about four times longer than ordinary lithium ion batteries. Two capacities are available: 15,000 mAh, which can charge a smartphone approximately three times, and 30,000 mAh, which can charge a smartphone approximately five times.
The 15000mAh has two USB Type-C ports and one USB Type-A port with up to 30W output, while the 30000mAh has two USB Type-C ports and one USB Type-A port with up to 65W output, allowing charging of up to three electronic devices simultaneously. An original design pouch with logo for carrying and a USB Type-C cable are included.
